Question: How old do I have to be to join?
 
Answer: Big Spirit takes on young people from ages 14 to 19 years.
 
Question: I've never acted before - will I get in?
 
Answer: We are not so much interested in ability or experience but we always welcome enthusiasm. As long as you have plenty of enthuisiasm, you'll be fine!
 
Question: I'm a bit shy. Does that matter?
 
Answer: Lots of actors are a bit shy! Still as you practice acting in front of people, you will soon loose that sense of panic and learn to relax and enjoy performing.
 
Question: How do I audition?
 
Answer: The first thing to do is to complete the application form and get it to us. We usually invite you down to a sample workshop so you can meet everyone and have taste of the way we work. The audition itself is straightforward - you have to learn a one minute speech from a play you know and we will ask you some simple questions like: 'what plays have you seen recently' or 'what do you enjoy about acting?'
